University Museum and Art Gallery The University of Hong Kong and Ise Foundation present:Exquisite Craftsmanship Japanese Cloisonne’ Enamels and Embroideries of the Meiji period from the Collection of the Ise Foundation


The Exhibition co-organized by the University Museum and Art Gallery The University of Hong Kong and the Ise Foundation “Exquisite Craftsmanship Japanese Cloisonne’ Enamels and Embroideries of the Meiji period from the Collection of the Ise Foundation” will be on from Friday, July 5th to September 1st, 2013 at the University Museum and Art Gallery The University of Hong Kong.
This exhibition will introduce rare Cloisonne’ Enamels and Embroidery ,
which were created as the export art products during the Meiji period.
56 pieces of the Cloisonne’ Enamels and 16 pieces of the Embroidery from the Meiji period, when Japan’s modernization was progressed most rapidly will be shown for the first time in Asia.
